AppleInsider reports today on a new survey from the Pew Research Center, which finds that tablet ownership in the US rose from 10% before Christmas to 19% in January 2012, indicating that tablets, along with e-book readers, were favourite presents this holiday season.
The report did not specifically mention the iPad, although it did mention that Amazon’s Kindle Fire and Barnes and Noble’s Nook Tablet both sold well.
