I have the ipad because I travel a bit, also, one visit a year for three months as well to India where my wife lives as a voluntary worker, we have a house in a place where its not secure so have to carry the ipad with me which is not so heavy.
I have a PC windows 7

There is lots of good advice and info on here plus plenty of members all too willing to help with any problems.

Remember, search is your friend.
