I found that when we went there. Meat e.g. Steak was fantastically cheap, I didn't think much of their chocolate though, our chocolate knocks spots off theirs.

What is southern chocolate.....most of it is imported into the UK. Admittedly you have much classier imported chocolates in the south, mainly European. Unlike in the north where it is usually from the states (brands I mean).

Some of us remember yelling when it went to 60 cents per gallon, premium; at a dollar a gallon, we thought the end was here or close by.

A few yell because the lead content these days is as close to zero as you can get.

Checkers are basically cabs. Big, lovely cabs. I am looking at a '63 Superba. A Cushman is a scooter. Very cool scooter.

When gas gets close to $4/gallon over here, people start yelling about it.

6 or so years ago, it was a little over $2/gallon.

A year or so ago (around Christmas 09 if memory serves) it was below $2 a gallon here in central Va after maxing out at over $4.20 the when Katrina hit. gas went up .75 a gallon in 2 days here when Katrina hit.
It's $4 a gallon now so folks will think they're getting a deal when it drops back to $3.50, just like folks threatened revolt when it $2 the first time so they raised it to $3 a gallon so folks would stop complaining about $2 a gallon

I prescribe a large brandy, and some time spent with your new iPad in the app store..... You will never have the time when your ankle is better. Concentrate on your interests and hobbies, you will be amazed at just whats there. You can spend virtually nothing and have the worlds radio, maps , art, music in fact, anything at the touch of your finger
