Yes indeed...midnight here, well, at the moment...clocks turn back in a couple of hours...so it's really only 11p.m. But I'm still tired.

We get 2 weeks' worth every year. There are public parks and the town centre park within 1 mile's radius of home. I go for a run the day after the main night and look out for large rocket sticks for flower stakes!

Good idea! Well, our horses certainly enjoyed it, they have escaped into the next field again and used the bangs as an excuse to be silly! He's normally such a docile thing but I expect got excited and went loopy. Some horses get really scared around this time of year and have to be stabled away from fireworks. Not many people give a thought to the animals that suffer through this time.

Rich, when are you changing your avatar? There must be another great photo of yours, you could use? The app makes it so easy to do now.
At the bottom is the app, there is a profile button and you press your avatar and it asks if you want to use your photos and you choose the photo and it asks if you want to use it and Bobs your uncle and Fanny's your aunt.

I'm pretty pleased with myself. I'm sorting out the TV cabling. I need to run an extension lead from the wall socket to above the mantle piece.

I've worked out a tidy unobtrusive set up using IEC plugs and a 2 way splitter which will be tucked behind the sound bar. I found some nice decorative mini trunking for the cables. All found on line and, including delivery charges, definitely cheaper than the shops. I must post some before and after pics if anyone's interested.

OK I'm off to look for rocket sticks.
