i got a pair of high tops. but like the old school normal ones. dont really like them as there is no support for ankles

Ankle support, favorite style of shoes... Why must we make such a hard decission?

when it comes to shoes i must admit I've chosen style over function and comfort many times. LOL. I love shoes.

Same here! I want some heels for christmas, heels with the dreadfull ankle straps that look so good, but are like blister spawners >.<

did you know you can get these really cool flesh colored gel type bandaids that will prevent the blister if you put them on soon enough. I have even been known to cut them up so they dont show. Shoes.....a blessing and a curse.

Yes i did! I plan to get them for them. Its funny, the only shoes i like to wearare converse and high heels... Polar oposites, but i believe that every woman needs a pair of both =D (and every man needs converse)

oh I so agree. When my grandson was born I bought him a teeny tiny pair ( high tops not heels LOL) and have kept him supplied ever since.

My mother did that for my baby brother when he was born, and we still have them! Oh they are the cutest little red sneakers ever!

My wife loves her shoes. She loves stylish ones with very high heels. I often have the job of putting 2 lace holes into shoes so that she can fit a ribbon to hold the shoe in place.

I have also fitted her wardrobe with extra shelves for the collection, taking care to leave hanging room for her coats.

Talk about a dedicated follower of fashion :)

I love shoes, clothes etc... But we don't go anywhere to wear them.

Converse: High tops or Low tops? I love High tops, I even have a pair that go up to my knees ^_^

I prefer high tops. I have a red pair of high tops and a leopard print pair of low tops. I will admit I wear my leopard print ones more cos when I brought them, they were limited edition ones :). I definitely need more. High tops or low tops, doesn't bother me. But I am the type of girl who can't walk in heels for the life of me. When I try I end up shuffling along and losing my balance lol

It's true, heels can be very hard to walk in. I still have no kdea how women manage to wear the insane heels that are at least 7 inches tall. I would probobly break my ankles just trying to wear them! Also, convere.com is awesome, you can actually design your own converse! Its great!

I was going to post before and after photos of a neat cable extension to our new TV. So, here they are.

Before. I didn't want a bog standard extension as the twin socket is too bulky! So I adapted things by using A twin splitter and PC monitor power plugs.

Sorry this pic is rotated. The pic below shows the aesthetically soft trunking. It's better looking than the square stuff!

OK I could have chased things in, but putty life at peril and risk being chased by a very irate spouse :) lol
