What's new

The "Anything Goes" thread

Anyone would think we were on Food Anyone? Thread. I had a slap up beef and lamb roast, yorkshire pudding and ALL the trimmings. Mega full but totally worth it. Mixed berry pavlova for pudding.

This all sounds delicious. We ate well in Paris, and the prices were reasonable.

The latest posts make our microwaved chilli con carne and bangers and mash, which we had yesterday, sound dull. Lol

I don't know, I love bangers and mash myself, although some of the above mentioned food got me salivating for sure.

Well, interestingly, Eatsies does take away bangers and mash......I haven't tried it yet but it looks delicious!

Thanks Leelai. You should plan a trip to Paris & London. With the theme of "A Tale of Two Cities"!

Excellent pictures Richard:) Gallerie Lafayette seems like Paris equivalent of Harrods, would love to visit it along with the apple store in the opera

Yes we plan to Richard, but we would like a fair bit of time to explore, there's so much to see. Waiting for our girls to all finish Uni, 1 down 2 to go. :)

Thanks Good Karma. Yes, G L is certainly a Harrods type shop, with prices to match. We missed seeing the rival store, Printemps, which is even more expensive! Why don't my lottery numbers come up?

You did a lot in a weekend. Thanks for the picture tour.

AA

Yes, AA we slept very well for 2 nights after. We thought Eurostar's check-ins were similar to an airport's. I didn't expect the train lag! :)
