Here's an amazing snap of heaven on Earth. This image, (credit NASA) was taken from the site of the Herschel Observatory, La Palma Island, in the Canary Islands. It shows the observatory shell in the foreground, comet PanSTARRS (upper left) through a break in the clouds and a sliver of Moon (centre right).
