I think a revolution is due ladies......after all it has now been determined if it were not for women (being gatherers apparently) who actually hunted (albeit in a totally different way) to feed, defend and raise our children, as the men were off hunting for food (often away months at a time) the human race may not have survived.
We have worked long and hard to deserve more than pink.

At this moment I remember my grandmother. She had to raise two girls all by herself in WW II and afterwards, because her husband died.
Yeah, yeah......now where did you leave the remote?........ahem, I'll get me coat!
The Archangel
Which must have been so very hard for her! But she's certainly someone to admire for all she had to endure for the sake of her children.
It wasn't easy.
My stepfather who is 86 this year was born in your part of the world depending where the border was at any given time between Italy and Austria.
He has told me many stories of the hardships they faced growing up during the war. One story was that they ate little pebbles to keep hunger at bay, so they at least had something in their stomachs. It must have been so very hard for her.
My grandmother was born 1919. She would be 96 this year.
It was easier in my part of Austria. But I heard that she had to work for her relatives. She sewed the clothes for herself and her daughters, and she sewed for other people as well. In winter, my mother told me, it was often very cold. When they woke up in the morning their bedclothes were covered with ice.
Morning Ladies! I think we have all declared war on these advertisers. They think we are Barbie! I was going to watch the Samsung Galaxy S4 show and then realised from reports it was total rubbish. I'm always looking at the opposition. not this time.
Morning Hayles!
I'm definitely not Barbie......for a start, I don't have a detachable head
I'll bet you don't drive a bubble gum pink Corvette, like Barbie, either.
Lol......there is no way I would be caught in a pink corvette!
