Here's an interesting phenomena. A dark coloured leaf on the snow is heated up enough by the Sun to melt it's way into the snow.

Thank God! But why are they called Koala Crisp? Are they from Australia, or just because of this picture?
 
There are Koala facts on the back of the box and the manufacturer wants to raise awareness about Koalas. The cereal is made in the U.S.
