The NASA HD site is quite stunning with its images this month.

It shows comet PanSTARRS in the star field and appearing close to and just below the Andromeda Galaxy. The image was captured
April 3 near Tänndalen, Sweden.

As this image has a signature mark in the lower right corner - I contacted the owner and received permission to post it with a courtesy credit .

It was APOD two days later. I wonder who the person on the picture was. It didn't stand in the description.

In answer to those great NASA photos, our paper has some superb photos of places on earth.

Look at Buzzfeed. There is an App in the iTunes Store.

Tap the OMG button. Go to the last, post on page 1 for "28 /places-you-wont-believe-actually-exist.

Then, there are photos of the most stunning swimming pools in the world on another page on the site. 24 amazing-pools-you-need-to-jump-in-before-you-die
