The "Anything Goes" thread

Okay, here is another question that I will be inyerested in everyone's answer!

What is the song ( if you know ) that sums up the truth of who you have been, are, and will be?
My answer is " Don't fence me in " and has been since I was three years old
PS I can only hope this is the right section to post this! If not please come to my rescue any mod.,s-mod or above that level! Thanks!

Darn it!

Looks like this has been showing up in all my iPhone photos over the last few days. the second photo is zoomed in with the background out of focus. Notice how the flaw is still in focus? It looks like bit of lint, and probably is, sitting right on top of the camera's sensor. If it was a problem with the lens it would not be in focus.

If I can't dislodge it with some gentle (and maybe not so gentle) tapping, I guess I'll have to see if my Applecare+ will cover the problem. I use my iPhone's camera for too many things for this to be tolerable. It will Quickly drive me crazy, especially right ther in the middle of the photo.

*sigh*

Ok, I'll stop whinging. Just had to share this little bump in an otherwise nice day. :)

I think you may be right about the cause. Unfortunately, if true, the only way to fix the problem would be to disassemble the camera module and remove the offending particle. AppleCare+ should take care of it for you. Let us know what happens.

That would bug the heck out of me too TP......I sure hope you can dislodge it but then it can appear at any time again, so maybe a trip to Apple is really the best way to go.

Good luck with that but let us know how you get on!

Also, try a vacuum or clean air jet for cleaning keyboards? Anything is worth a try. :)

On the bright side, I now have an excuse to visit my nearest Apple Store. And at 120 miles (one way) I need a pretty good excuse.

Which means I need to get to bed, right now. It will be an early start (for me) tomorrow.

Be careful, I've heard that people often hear a sucking sound from their wallets if they pass too near an Apple store. ;)
