What's new

The "Anything Goes" thread

The plan is that the doors will have an amplifier on each one flipped upside down with the electronics visible through a window, a custom built door card covered in white leatherette with some lighting, inside will reveal a wall of monitors with visible cable again through glass windows , basically a huge acoustic enclosure Sent from my iPad 3 64gb using iPF

Sounds impressive! Is this for a car show?

I've seen some very unusual fit outs for acoustic gear before at car shows.....mostly in car boots but have seen them in back seats also, just not with doors like that! It should wow the crowd if it is! ;)

Your right yes , it is for a car show , and I've a monster audio and video system to go in , with copious amounts of lighting and glasswork

Good luck with it all......

Wouldn't mind seeing more photos as you advance along and of course, the finished product if you don't mind!

I'm picturing it already at the car show!! ;)

Thank you , this was it at one show

Well gosh, they are impressive! The same car too, I take it!

So do the front doors still open up? With the back doors opening down, that's going to look mighty unusual!

Kudos!! ;)

Oh yes , always the same car , stripped and redesigned every year .
The front doors will open differently again for the next show and so will the boot . All sorts of trick stuff on the way .
Trying to fit 30 mini tv screens will be interesting

That reminded me of the small battery icons in website view. :-)
I suppose you don't get more than seven.

I know. Just wanted to know if its slow to make 300 post to become a iPad Enthusiast.
You're not slow.
I don't remember where I was after three months, but it took me more than a month to seriously start posting here after joining iPF. And now you can't stop me... :D

I know. Just wanted to know if its slow to make 300 post to become a iPad Enthusiast.

I have no idea what the average time is, but it doesn't really matter. Some people post a lot. The most active members shot through 300 posts to Enthusiast in the first few weeks. Other's only post a few times a year, have been here for years, and not made Enthusiast.

If you are enjoying the forum then you are posting exactly the right amount.

Most of us don't pay much attention to the titles. Well, except the very first one; because sometimes you want to adjust your answers to those who have not been on the forum long enough to know the community and rules.

Anyway, I suppose an Admin might be able to coax some kind of statistic out of the forum's history, but I suspect they won't. It would only encourage the idea that title are a competition. Posting for the sake of posting isn't something any of us wan't to encourage.

That being said, I know how a numbers question can eat at you. If I really wanted some kind of measure I would start recording the Join Date and post count of active members. A little work in a spreadsheet would give you some sort of number. Best to consider it a just for fun thing though. There would be too many unknowns to draw any serious conclusions.
