Windows 98 was released by Microsoft in 1998 and only 'lived' for 2 years. And now, 17 years later, it seems that somebody came up with the idea of running the old operating system on a iPad Air 2. Have a look at the video from below to see Windows 98 in action.
The person who uploaded the video is running Windows 98 inside the DOSPAD app on a jailbroken iPad Air 2. As you can see for yourself, the mouse can be controlled using the touchscreen, and an external keyboard is connected for typing.
We can see that both Diablo II and Fallout 2 are installed on this iPad, but we only see the latter being opened. Unfortunately, we don’t get to see the game in action, which might be a little suspicious.
The programmer says that a few optimizations are needed to get the game running smoothly, so that's perhaps why he didn't show the rest. However, he said that Diablo II should “run fine” on an iPhone 6 Plus and the iPad Air 2.
