TIPS AND TRICKS - for those of us who don't know!

I don't know if this is posted already but you can use multiple fingers to tap the spacebar on the keyboard. The more fingers you use, the more spaces it makes. I use it sort of like a TAB key. I tried using up to 5 fingers and it works! HeHehehe.

Sorry, there isn't a one tap shortcut. Maybe if your Jailbroken, you can install a keyboard that might be set up different. But the 3 tap method I described is very simple (all 3 keys are next to eachother) and when your used to it, it seems just like a shortcut.

No no no .... the number of spaces typed depends on the number of fingers used to tap the spacebar. For example, I tapped the spacebar once using two fingers, then there would be two spaces. If I tap it once using three fingers then there would be two spaces and so on.

I'll bs in the middle writing an email, a blogging entry or writing on Pages and for no reason the keyboard will drop down and out of site. Anyone know why this happens and how can I stop this happening?

I have heard of the term (to swipe ). What is this and what does it do? Also, how do you copy a link. On my pc I just right click the address to copy the link and copy it to an email. Also how do I make my iPad put o the screen - from my iPad using IPF

If you swipe the period key (touch it like you're going to type a period, but instead of letting go, drag your finger up to about the L key just above it). It's a shortcut to get a double-quote instead of hitting the ".?123" button and then typing the double-quote.

To copy a link, touch the address bar and hold for a few seconds, then let go once you see the magnifying glass without dragging sideways. On the pop-up menu, choose Select All, at which point, you'll get another pop-up menu where you can choose to cut, copy, or paste. If you want to paste that url elsewhere, just click and hold again and if no text is there, you'll get the popup offering to let you paste...

I think David's point was that this thread is to share tips, not to ask for them... Because of that your question's not going to get much visibilty in front of users who might know the answer so your best bet to get some proper help is to start a new thread instead.

I stumbled onto this and don't know if anyone has noticed this but I was in setting of iPhone 3GS, 4 and iPad 1 and went into the store section and it was asking whether I wanted to download apps and books onto all devices, I turned it on with all my devices but didn't realise until downloaded an app that it would work until all devices received the same app without me having to duplicate it like I always do!

Didn't realise the iCloud was working already, but I hope this will tell other members that it's working on these three devices already. Yippee!!!

Did u do that in iTunes on your computer or on your mobile device?

To activate ICloud the iTunes as well as your devices have to be updated with the latest firmware if I'm not mistaken.
