I am getting the ipad 2 tomorrow, my first transition from Windows 7 to Apple. How can I transfer my very large 15GB organized itunes library from Win7 to ipad2?

Thanks in advanced.

Dont know how chriztofor answers your question, but eh.

Anyway, you will still have iTunes on your Win7 PC. you can sync your whole library to the iPad (well, 32g or 64g version). All you have to do is plug in your iPad (which you have to do first anyway) and when it finishes registering with the Apple App Store, you can then select all the music and whatever you want to be on your iPad. The iTunes library cannot be managed from the iPad. Still need a PC or MAC for that.

If you want an Ipad then you will have to deal with ITunes. First to activate your IPad and then to sync what ever you have purchased from the ITunes or through a previous App Store download. Then you can sync pictures, music, Pod casts etc. from your computer be thata PC or a Mac. After that you actually backup your IPad content back into your ITunes application. Not much else you can do other than go to a Android tablet like the Xoom.

Use the professional iPad file transfer software to transfer iTunes from PC to iPad. With the use of the tool you can also transfer whatever is in the iPad to PC. Tool provides an easy access of transferring.
Well, I've just been using iTunes w/ my iPod Touch & my new iPad2, but the 2 programs mentioned above are of interest - the transfer & updating options w/ 2 (or more if I get another iPad) are rather confusing at times w/ iTunes, if one wants different apps on each device?

Looking forward to some further comments on how these iTunes alternates are better in eliminating some of the confusion that I've found - thanks for any input - :)
