Transferring stuff beyond apps from ipad 1 to 4

I am about to get an ipad 4. I want to move all my stuff. I know the apps will move through itunes , but what about notepad, bookmarks on chrome, etc. Is there a way to move that? I have pages from conferences and such on the old one that are not in the documents list. Also e mail settings and all of that general stuff.

You should be able to make a backup for the iPad1. Then, after initializing the iPad4 (connected with iTunes), right click on it's line and select "restore from backup." You may be offered the opportunity to restore from backup automatically by iTunes - either way, select the iPad1 backup.

The, iTunes will do it's "magic," and your iPad4 should end up just like your iPad1. Well, except it's and iPad4...

Just went from a 1 to 4 and everything transferred without issue....everything
