I'm taking my iPad Pro (10.5" if that makes a difference) on holiday to the USA. Can I just plug the "lightning" charger into an ordinary converter (UK to USA)? I don't want to do any damage. Thanks.

I bought the Apple travel adapter set. The various plug adapters connect to the charger supplied with your iPad which can then be used in the USA and most countries around the world.

Thanks, Jupiter7 and scifan57. I do have a plug converter but was worried about whether there might be some kind of additional problem. Thanks again.

I don’t think there would be any other problems. I wouldn’t really know because I haven’t traveled outside the USA with iPad.
