All I can remember is that sand is only available on the mystery shore. If you tap on the sand pit icon in the production tab, I think it should tell you which quest you need to complete, although it can be a bit cryptic.

Sanctuary restored, Marble Fiord partially organized. AND ONLY 11 QUESTS TO COMPLETE ON BOTH ISLANDS. Am I such an expert? I normally see heaps of quests!

I found that the other day. Works great if you need to move a villager quickly.

Ok. A new update saying to introduce the gifting system and some new building. It is of course buggy and the list of gifts I can send has not updated yet, saying 24 hours to do so.

Has anyone figured out how sending/receiving gifts works? I'm afraid to click on anything in case I screw things up for one of my neighbours or myself. Abs - visited you but couldn't tell if you'd requested anything. Didn't leave a gift but will when I know for sure how this works. I can send wood, coral, glass, sand and copper. Are your gift lists different? Wonder if they'll change when our day resets. Happy to test it out with someone.

Tried the gifting thing and the only name that came up was baba, so abs you should have some food coming.
Couple of new very simple quests, the one that comes up on the Marble Fiord asks you to build a pond which costs 15 crystals, bit naughty.

If you tap on the present there are three tabs in the pop-up. There are the gifts you can give - looks like 10/day. Next are the gifts you can accept - 5/day but hope that changes. And third are your and your neighbours' wishlists. I have one neighbour who's posted their list. I assume that if I click on a gift in their wishlist, it will be sent. In addition to the 5 gifts they'd like, there is also a box with 15 crystals. I'm willing to send crystals to one of you - if they come out of my stash I'm okay with that as long as they go to someone I 'know.' Will wait until you've had a chance to take a look at your game before I send out any presents.

I visited your game and tried to send you sand but the only neighbour I can send to is the one who's wishlist I can see. Fill out your wishlist and I'll try again.
