What's new

Tribez

Hi all,
Just a reminder that I do send gifts out when I can but it's not necessary to send anything in return to me. It would be better to use your allocation of gifts on new players.
I really do have tens of thousands of all commodities in the warehouses/stores of all islands.
Good luck with your own islands. I still enjoy playing, particularly when a new quest comes along.

What a question...where do I start? It's largely dependent upon your progress to date.
There are 7 Islands. The first island always remains the most important and the biggest island and expansions appear regularly as you make progress.
Island 2 is Marble Fiord which doesn't have any really unique factories, but as the name suggests, it is one island that can produce Marble which island 1 frequently needs.
Other islands (apart from 1) can also produce marble.
Island 3 is Mystery Shore and is the only island that you can produce sand so get plenty of sand pits there so you can produce enough to feed it to all islands when necessary.
Island 4 is Ancestor's atoll - the only place to make coral so get lots of these mines on this island (I have 15).
Island 5 is Murlod Island - unique for the copper foundry. Copper isn't required as much as other commodities but you do need it at times.
Islands 6 and 7 are not particularly important in production terms.

In general, I'd advise expanding each island as much as you can and concentrate initially on getting lots of trading posts as you can make 600 money in 30 mins. This is probably the best quick deal. I have multiple trading posts on all islands with 35 on island 1. They are also often a good help in completing quests throughout the duration of the game so they are the best investment.
The second best advice is to get plenty of pig farms to gather lots of food (I've got 16 on island 1).
Get plenty of warehouses and upgrade them so you always have a stock of commodities. You can keep producing and stuffing your warehouses even when there's no relevant quest running.
The Alchemist Shop returns a profit of 1200 in1 hour.
As you progress there are more things available to assist in earning money. The Laundromat is perhaps the best as a 1 hour quick deal earns 8000 money and a 6 hour deal earns 17000 so that is useful to set going at night. I think this only became available late on in my game and these are probably expensive to buy.
Otherwise, the Theatre is ok giving 2500 money each 2 hours.
Many other facilities are more suited to longer deals such as the Volleyball court (11000 profit in 8 hours), or Coliseum & the Spa (each 13000 in 8 hours). The restaurant gives 17000 in 6 hours.

You've probably already figured that you need lots of wood and that this is quick and cheap to produce as are various other standard commodities.
It perhaps goes without saying that houses and their upgrades are of primary importance so as to maximise your number of available workers.
You will be able to purchase airships on each island (and upgrade them) so you can move the commodities between islands.

There are a small number of buildings that are needed to complete quests but thereafter seem to be a total waste of space. I think the post office is one. I had to buy a couple then later put them in storage to free up space for more important things. The taxation office isn't of much use in the game. The jail things for murlods are necessary to complete quests but a waste of space afterwards.
Hotels are ok and are required for quests but they take up quite a lot of space.

That's all that I can recall right now. Sorry if the above isn't exactly correct but most is from memory.
If there are any specific questions then just ask.
Best of luck.

You're a perfect neighbour then ;) Thank you for detailed info about making money!

Let me complete that 700 marble quest and I am on Mystery Shore!!

I'm trying to help you with marble everyday! :)

Have you noticed that there is a game update for Halloween? Nutty

Yes but it all it seems to have done is lock some of the money making buildings saying that they require quest completion!

Barbara,
I can't really see what today's update has done apart from giving us the 'privilege' of purchasing two types of Halloween fence using the costly crystals.
It says that it is also improving game stability, but for a GI product, my own Tribez game has always been totally stable.
Perhaps there will be a Halloween quest launching during the coming days.
Which "money making buildings" has it locked? I can't currently see any problems within my own game.

She means that when she wants to build some buildings which could be built previously before the update, she cannot and it says that a quest has to be completed before the building can be built, and that quest is nowhere to be found!!
