Whether someone visited your village cannot be determined by you, though there is a good way of giving a bit extra by 'thanking' for the gift.

After you receive one of the 5 gifts you can per day, you get the option of thanking in the 'incoming gifts' list itself. The option comes up everytime for resources received and sometimes for quest items received. For resources, the sender gets a small amount of gift that was received by you(no deduction from your part), so its a profit for both. I don't know what is got for thanking for quest items. If you have any active quests which require collecting something for its completion, you can simply add them to your wishlist, like many of us have. If you don't have any or less than 5 quest items required, you can always put on some resources which you think you require the most. QUEST ITEMS FOR A PARTICULAR QUEST CAN BE SENT BY ONLY THOSE PLAYERS WHO HAVE COMPLETED THE RELATIVE QUEST.

You then get the village of your neighbour, which was stored when you were playing last time with your internet connection 'on'. Concluded from the fact that it prompts that you are not connected to the internet.

OK, sure - I'll keep sending what you wish but why I can see the coral on your wishlist? I wouldn't have sent it if you hadn't put it on your list (unless it was another game glitch).

Then its another glitch. All which I had on the list during the time of posting is the 2 timed quest items, marble and may or may not be, cut stone. Recall, was receiving coral unlocked for you at such a low level?

Hi all,
Just a reminder that I do send gifts out when I can but it's not necessary to send anything in return to me. It would be better to use your allocation of gifts on new players.
I really do have tens of thousands of all commodities in the warehouses/stores of all islands.
Good luck with your own islands. I still enjoy playing, particularly when a new quest comes along.
