Updated Ipad now it keeps locking up

Hi clermont. Freezing, crashing, locking up, sulking? The iPad can do some weird things at times. In the absence of further info now, can I suggest the following is a good thing to do after a system update:

Simultaneously hold down the On/Off and Home buttons until the screen blacks out. Keep holding both until the Apple logo appears and then let both go. Then wait until your wallpaper appears. Restart your iPad.
Let us know how you got on. Other answers are possible

I've been through 4 iPad's 4th gen that started to freeze shortly after the new IOS update, I wish you could go back to IOS 6 as it had no issues at all, even with the new IOS you can't scale a photo to fit the screen properly, what are they thinking, i called them on this the very first update, you'd think that during beta testing they would have had a fix, Apple techs were stunned when i brought it to there attention. Just received my new iPad replacement, 4th one as all others shut off, still played music while screen was black, always had to hard reboot, I believe it's the IOS and not the iPad as I mentioned to the Apple techs, still no fix as of yet. If you have an Apple care warranty keep bugging them until you get one that works, it's what i have to do, if you have no warranty you're stuck. Try setting it up as new without adding any of your apps and see if it freezes up, then add two apps at a time, process of elimination. However i found that it wasn't any one app, it froze up regardless, hope this helps.

it just freezes, as in you cant change the page move anything so i tried holding the 2 buttons till the apple logo comes up, it seems to be ok now , so far
