Updates wont complete from app store

IM trying to get the apps updated on my iPad . I've done an update all and the updates just show the slider bar and no progress. Sounds like others are experiencing the same issue and a reset does not correct the problem. I've searched the net for a solution and no one seems to have one.

Please advice,

Update: I originally tried to update 4 apps at the same time. If I go to the individual app with the unfinished slider bar showing, and touch the app, it tries to reinstall. 2 of the apps completed successfully that way . The other 2 give error messages that they can't download at this time and remain "stuck in limbo land".

Does the update work if you doit via iTunes?

Never tried that. I tend to stay clear of iTunes. I deleted the apps and reinstalled them.
