Video capture to IPAD

I work with videos and photos that capture images from a camera and transfer directly to the PC. Now with the IPAD I am not able to do that. Anyone have any ideas? Does mistakenly bought an IPAD to do that?

The iPad does not do photo or video capture. The closest thing is uploading photos/videos from a camera using the Camera Connection Kit.

I have camera connection kit, but I tried to transfer from camera but i can do it. Is there any way to do this ?
