Hey guys, first post having just joined! 
I've got a bit of a conundrum and I'm looking for advice from you guys regards best app to use. Happy to pay for the app if it's suitable.
So, I've got an external hard drive (A Seagate Personal Cloud) which has my media stored on it. I'd like to be able to watch all videos (including files that don't work on standard iPad apps) through my Chromecast. I can find apps that let me watch the videos, I can find apps that let me stream to the Chromecast, but have not found one that does both.
Do any of you have any recommendations on which app(s) would work? I can currently do all this via my xbox but in the bedroom it's just a Chromecast and would like to use the iPad.
