Usually those typhoon in HK came from Manila. I'm glad your brother is safe.

He took his family to Hong Kong because he's been offered a job there. I guess after the typhoon experience he'll have to consider the local weather before making his decision.

My brother worked in HK for more than 13 years. He now works in Michigan and claims that weather is better than HK.
