We are expecting a 'winter storm' to start this afternoon, which means it's gonna rain! Watch out Admiral this one is heading towards you and it will be freezing rain and heavy snow by then. :(

Frost warnings her in So California this morning. After 7 AM and temp is still a nippy 32 F! Most unusual for us right along the coast!

An hour inland and it is 16 (-8C) Oooh those mountains...
 
Yesterday at my place there was so little snow on the ground - grass was showing.

24 hours later .....

It's the wet variety. So heavy our Amur Maple collapsed under the weight. You can see the large branches that came down - in the foreground.

I hope no people or animals were there when it happened. We had a storm like that, several years ago in Regina. Branches were down all over the city and several elm trees almost 100 years old were split open by the strain of the weight from the heavy wet snow.
