I saw it earlier today. It says that two low pressure systems came together.

That's correct. Saw one report that seemed to say the storm released "hurricane like" energy at its peak.

That's what I said...an Alberta Clipper will combine with a Texas low. We had 15" plus blowing and drifting. How was it for you AA? Now we hear that a Colorado low is heading for us tomorrow which will bring inches of freezing rain. There goes the power.....

25 centimetres of snow but it was beautiful today. Clear sky - sunshine - not too cold.
Not interested in any freezing rain. Catapult that straight into space me thinks.

I know...when the great ice storm happened in Quebec we were (Honda Canada) asked to help by sending generators. We emptied the warehouse and never saw any of them again......
