I think I could see them yesterday in your second picture. But they seem to be higher on today's photo.

That's just incredible, such a bright cloudless sunny day and minus 6. I guess you're used to the cold. That would kill me! We had a day that looked just like that today, 22 degrees centigrade, just beautiful. June 1 will be the start of our winter. Can get to a chilly 10c.
I don't mind winter, unless it's raining (never snows in Adelaide except rarely in the Mt. Lofty Ranges, overlooking the city) I can get to wear a leather jacket
