Thank you Skimonkey and Molly. Our break was wonderful , and over far too quickly

The weather was very British! We enjoyed balmy Friday, then it turned cold and overcast with showers on Saturday and Sunday. Monday was cloudy and cold, until 30 minutes before boarding Eurostar when it turned sunny for the trip home.

We had a nice surprise for the return. We were in Standard Premier class and were served an airline style meal. As we approached St Pancras, we had a good view of the Kings Cross extension. I was too slow to get a photo. Speaking of which, photos will be posted later.
