Until now I didn't know the name (shelf ) of this cloud formation. I've seen it many times at the shore of Lake Erie, in the Great Lakes system.

Careful. Remember what happened to "Where in the World". We got that up to #4, before we had to kill it.

Here's my contribution. It's raining cats and dogs in Edmonton. Not at all what we needed for Canada Day.

86 f here. Happy Canada Day! I went to an early July. 4th celebration and it was hot but dry enough to be comfortable.







Note the tractors lining up around the round barn for the tractor parade.

Thanks for sharing these photos, Mollysmum. I can see why they are scary, but the photographer has done a great photoshop job in enhancing the drama.
I expect he will sell a number of posters.
