Well, everything I like isn't there. It leans towards American program's which isn't a problem but I'd like more UK program's. I need to study it more when I have more time. We have a Wii so when my daughter comes back tonight, I will get her to experiment on the telly. Some good movies but not nearly enough. I saw review somewhere that said you need love film as well to be really good. Tv studios either go with love film or Netflix but not both. Could be wrong. Its free until 10th May for me so I will let you know. It's tempting to get the free month with Love Film to compare.

That sounds disappointing......I get lots of TV programmes, films and iPlayer with my BT Vision and they don't count the data for downloading against my allowance (although I have just upgraded to unlimited broadband) so I don't think I would get any benefit from Netflix.

It will take some time for Netflix to sign distribution deals in the UK. The model may fail too. Content owners are developing their own pay as you go systems, BBC iPlayer as an example.
Astral Media is Canada is launching an HBO app.
For a fee, you can watch HBO programs without having to have a cable or satellite TV package.

Even as an American, I think Netflix lacks in content. Some good shows, but the movie department is even more lacking.

I'd love to see more British period content on Netflix. I watch Brit stuff like Downton Abbey and other period movies or series (mostly BBC and ITV), all on Netflix.

Overall, I generally prefer reading to watching, though. Much more satisfying.

I rarely watch popular movies or American TV shows, so I don't miss them on Netflix. For less than 10 bucks -- cheaper than one movie ticket in both cities where I have homes -- I find Netflix a bargain.
