What's new

What are you guys doing right NOW??? ;)

Living on the edge. Updating iPad to iOS 8.02. The phone will be next, but not before I do a quick scan of the news/blogs for warnings.

Now, a quick dog walk while I wait for the iPad to finish.
I updated mine about 90 minutes ago. The first thing I tried was uploading a photo to iPhone Forums, it worked!:)

I didn't think they'd release the next update so soon.
iPad Air is up to date again, mini is updating.
After the fiasco with the release of iOS 8.0.1, it was in the best interest of Apple and it's customers to release a properly working update as soon as possible.

Agreed. I just supposed they'd need one or two days more. Maybe they just worked to improve 8.0.1. There's only one difference between them.

I still can't upload photos in Safari.

Using my iPad 4, I was able to upload a photo to iPhone Forums within 5 minutes of completing the iOS 8.0.2 update.
To keep on topic for the thread, I'm going to bed as I'm going on a weekend trip tomorrow morning.

The image in Laugh of The Day was uploaded without problems, Safari needed a few minutes to allow it to me. :)

Good night, and:
Have a great time!

I'm wondering why I'm still online here. I logged out before I left my house.

Right now, I'm playing with my new toy (!):

Got it yesterday after waiting forEVer on my September 12th preorder.

In a bit, I'll head out to AT&T to trade-in the iPhone 4S I was using. For $200, it'll be a good deal.

I put iOS 8.0.2 on the phone last night. After I finish browsing the forum, I'll put it on the iPad. Thanks to all who said they've had no trouble. I didn't with the phone, but, well ... you know! :)

Now, back to matching my actions with the topic and playing with my new toy. :D

Yes, it was delivered much earlier than the October 2 - 13 estimated shipping date (given by AT&T). It's just that I wanted it NOW (or at least on the September 19th launch date). It was killing me to see others talk about having theirs.

And, DON'T get me started on all the videos of people destroying their new phones (the 6 and 6+)! I don't normally watch them, anyway, cause they're dumb (IMHO, of course). But, they were like adding salt to my wound(s) to see the new phones get destroyed while mine still wasn't in my hands.
Grrrrrr..... :)

And yes, if I may say so, it's a brilliant device! I absolutely adore it and am so glad I have it. And my eyes thank me, too! :D I've never had a TouchID device, so that's cool, even though I find myself trying to enter the passcode versus using the touch. Oh, and I am going to have to learn to like the power/sleep button. Very strange, having it on the side.

Back to the topic - I'm right now waiting for my iPad Air to finish up a full restore to iOS 8.0.2. Seems to be fine.

I don't understand these people either. Instead of taking care of their new devices, they try to destroy them using methods you wouldn't even think of.

Currently I don't have any problems with my phone, but it's really tempting to get one of these new iPhones, mostly because of my eyesight, too.
