Doing a clean install of Mac OS X. El Capitain on my 2009 iMac. Hopefully this will make it usabale again. It's been so slow that I couldn't even do basic web browsing on it with out a largre serving of patience on the side.

I'll probably lose a few app (that I almost never used), but my documents and other important files are tucked away safely in a couple of recoverable places.

Yay! My iMac is now usable again. Not speedy, but usable.

I think I'll just cruise along as it is for now, and only add apps back as I find I need them. So far that's only been 1Password and BackBlaze. Oh, and Tweetbot.
