Just returned from a three day stay in hospital, Stoke Mandeville UK ( home of the Paralympic Games), courtesy of our National Health Service (NHS).
The only downside was the 24 hour wait on a hospital trolley which was bounced between Accident and Emergency (A&E) and various corridors, whilst waiting for a proper bed in the ward. Definitely NOT a pleasant experience.
The service following that was exemplorary, so I’m not knocking the staff, but the Government funding needs to be looked at long and hard
