What's new

What I see in my backyard...

Oh yes...after all these years, I just finally realized to do that. What a brilliant idea to do that, it really helped when I pulled out. We had about 8 inches by then. I kept praying that the snow plows wouldn't come in as we were shoveling to leave us another snow pile at the end. I really hate when that happens!

That's most inconsiderate of the plow teams! ;)

A life long practice if mine. Always prepared for a fast get-away. ;)

Same here, AA. In public car parks, I always try to reverse into parking spaces. It's so much easier to do, and good for a rapid exit. I must admit I feel a touch smug when a driver takes my vacated space and takes several moves back and forth to get nose first into the space :D

I was lucky-the snow plows came later in the morning before my husband left for work! ;)

I never thought of doing that before....why, I have no idea. Maybe, it has to do with many years of having a Sports Utility Vehicle I didn't have to worry about heavy snow. Now with my hatchback car, my tires are half that size!

Here's a snow covered Blue Spruce in my back yard.

Oh, that is very pretty.

While I am all about Spring coming, the snow covered trees and pines do take for beautiful pictures!

It's hard to believe that about 25 years ago I carried this tree in one hand, while I planted it. It's now taller than my 21/2 story house.

We have 2 Pines that my husband did many years ago as well. I will take a picture of it and share here.

You don't realize how big and fast they will grow. When you plant them in the ground, you think that the space is adequate enough--only to find that it is too close to the fence or the pine next to it!

Sci--these are the two pines my husband planted years ago. They came in little cups no more than 6 inches or so! Try are so tall that my camera couldn't take the full length. I should have taken it from the ground floor to show the full effect.

It must be! It's a great hideaway for the deer to settle down in as well. Often times we will see several napping there during the day or early morning! :)

I see a very pretty snowfall, have a look !

I hope it attached, my first try.

Sent from my iPad using iPF, still lots room left in 64GB
