What's new

What music are you listening to right now!?!?

James Blunt - Bonfire nights. Another good song. I've also been listening to John Newman's new album. Good selection too.

I've listened to this song for 26 years and still can't get through it without dabbing my eyes.

'Bottomland" - Lyle Lovett with Emmylou Harris.

Enjoy.

I *just* finished watching the wonderful Opera Australia DVD of H.M.S. Pinafore. Of all the recorded performances, and I've seen most of them, this is by far the funniest, and one of the best-sung. The Ozzies also do the funniest Pirates of Penzance and Mikado, if you're a G&S fan.

Thank you Johanna, I enjoyed that, played it three times:). It brought back memories. The last time I saw that Verdi live was at the Riga Opera House in 1991.I thought that conductor of the K&K Philharmoniker and Opernchor was entertaining too.

Seeing Verdi live must have been a great experience.

If you consider this conductor entertaining, I'd like you to watch our conductor (especially his face). I can imagine that it looks funny, when you're not used to it.

Giuseppe Verdi again, from "Aida": Triumphal march, Arena di Verona 2012
