I liked Ex Machina too.

The Martian is worth watching, imo.
There are quite a few well known and good actors, such as Chiwetel Ejiofor or Sean Bean, just as an example. Matt Damon is good, there are moments when you have to laugh, despite the situation, and others when you hold your breath.

Scientifically, the film seemed correct to me. NASA was one of the consultants.

The next thing I'll do is read the book.

Simply the best Pixar film, ever. A stunningly inventive concept.

Kenneth Branagh was director (usually he's excellent), and there are a few good actors, but I didn't really like the movie.
