Why need to Sync email to iCloud

Hi All

I aware that iCloud help to sync my contact to all mt iDevice , but I cannot understand why it need to sync email , hope some one can enlighten me pls.

iCloud includes an email account. If you already have email and don't want to use the iCloud email as a second account just turn it off in Settings > iCloud. It won't affect how your other email accounts work one way or the other.

Yes. Your iCloud email address will end in @me.com

ok here is another question about email i have a windows pc and its out look express.
and i have optonline. so will i be able to check my optonline email with the ipad??

I'm not familiar with Optonline. You'll need to go to their support pages to find setup instructions. If they offer an IMAP account use that in preference to POP3.

You will need to use the Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account; Other option. Unless Optonline offers and Exchange server, in which case you can use the Microsoft Exchange option. That is also better than POP.
