This didn't use to happen, just recently has started.
When I sync using iTunes, update my iPad with the bookmarks from IE on my laptop (Dell,Vista), things look fine and then when I recheck or try to use my bookmarks on my iPad, there is a freaking SyncId tagged onto the end of each web address that is bookmarked.
Thus - my bookmarks are useless.
I've deleted them and re-Synced and it keeps happening.
What is up?
