I have a ipad2 and my workwebsite pulls up https://www2.sc3.exel.com but some functions do not work.

For emaple, when I click a calendar icon a calendar pulls up for me to choose a day. Now when I click the icon I get a error nullpointer message.

And when I click another menu the information does not pull up on the page.

But if I login to any laptop I have a toshiba and I've tried dell it all works fine. Any thoughts or ideas to make my work info pull up?

I can't see what you're describing because all I get is a login screen when I click on your site..

I'm guessing that the site uses Flash.. If that's the case, then your iPad will never be able to access your work web site properly.

Not so sure if this requires flash but Inside the website, you can click a calendar icon and a small calendar comes up and you choose a day(kind of like when you choose your flight day) and some pages do not fully load up and they require no flash on some of these menus?

Are you using Safari to browse your work site? I had somewhat similar issues for one of my company sites (I work at a NOC and my monitoring site would load the initial monitoring page, but embedded item options failed). I switched to a different browser and got it working.

Yes I was trying with Safari, which browser did you switch to?

I am using iChromy now. My monitoring platform is web based, but didn't support safari. By default iChromy is set to report as Safari. I changed it to report as IE6 under the settings.

I am curious, did using a different browser work for you?

Many business/company sites use alternate scripting languages and/or extensions that are not supported by Mobile Safari, or any of the other iPad browsers that are based on the standard mobile browsing kit.

The only work arounds are to use one of the Flash browsers (which use a remote server to run the webpage) or to remote into a desktop computer. The first may work (but does not have a good record of doing so), the second works very well, but requires remote software loaded on both the iPad and a desktop (which must be up, running, and connected to the internet.
