Wi-Fi issues

I know one of the solutions is to set the router so it transmits on a single band but my household has several devices that do not support 802.11n.

My issue is that despite getting full bars of Wi-Fi, the iPad 2 fails to connect to the Internet. Are there any ways to resolve this or should I wait for iOS 5? This happens after wake.

Can other devices in your house connect to the Internet using the WiFi there? i.e. the iPad is the only device that can't connect.

Check with the manufacturer to see if there are any firmware updates for your router. Quite a few of the early 802.11n routers did not work with the iPad, but have had firmware updates that fixed the issue.
