Will iPhone 4 micro-sim work in iPad 3G?

Now that the iPhone 4 with micro-sim is available, can you use the iPhone 4 sim and data plan in an iPad 3G? Will an iPad 3G be able to txt message with this sim? Brings up interesting possibilities, since the iPad 3G is data only and no voice service like the iPhone.

You will not be able to text for sure, unless younhave that app for the iPod touch, there is no native iPad SMS app even if you have a different sim card

apple and cingular both have said that the iPhone 4 mico simcard wont work at all in the iPad. But im sure after a while a hack will be made available for those jailbreak users.

Yea, if you are jailbroke, I suppose you might be able to convince the software that you are using an iPhone, it might work then.
