Wont lock screen.pls help

Hello guys, im new here and i want first to apologies for my english

I change my lock screen wallpaper and from that time when i close the case cover of my ipad2 doesnt go to lock screen.
I restore the factory settings but still nothing.
Any ideas?

Did you try going to Settings>General>iPad Cover Lock/Unlock and make sure that the switch is turned on?

With a new or newly restored iPad this menu option won't appear until you attach and close a Smart Cover for the first time. Try that and let me know if it works.

I can hear the lockscreen sound but the scrren doesnt lock

You could try this. Go to Settings>General> Reset>Reset All Settings. It may help and it won't erase any of your content.

If you live close enough to an Apple store, you could take in the iPad to have it checked at the Genius Bar. If you do, make sure to back up your iPad before you go. If there is a hardware fault and your iPad is replaced, you can set up the replacement from the backup you made.

Im from Cyprus (Greek side) we dont have here Apple store
