I cheated a little bit. Because Johanna's starting word is usually the same as mine, I skipped a step. The one letter I got right in my first guess is rarely used alone, and most of the usual combinations were eliminated by the previous guesses. Also, all but one vowel had been eliminated. After that, I only need a tiny bit of luck. A case where non-matches were more help than matches.

I feeling equal parts clever and guilty.
