I have no sound while watching anything using my Xfinity app. The video is fine just no sound. Yes, I do have sound everywhere else(YouTube, podcasts, etc) I deleted the app and reinstalled it but still no luck.

It sounds dumb but... it does not work with built in speakers. Works fine with headphones.

I spent 2 hours surfing the web. I upgraded the operating system from 4.2 to 4.3. Some people said it has to do with the "rotation lock switch" which is above the volume knob. No joy. I am able to play xfinity video just fine but with out any volume. The screen says: "no volume". I plug in headphones: the "no volume" changes to a real volume control and I have sound out the head phones.

If you can tell me a work around to get sound out the main speakers. I welcome your input. However, I am currently stuck with this so called solution. I had read about this on another page and I found it to be true.

I might add, it is pretty simple to try. It may or may not solve your problem. "It works on my machine". (sorry just an old programmer joke that is true in this case.)
