The Apple Watch is a tiny device, but it's not quite easy to get one. As you already know, the cheapest version starts at $349 and the most expensive one can be yours for $17,000. But if you're not sure you want to buy it, then you might be able to rent it and see whether it's worth the effort.
A startup called Lumoid will be renting out Apple Watches for as low as $45 per week. The company is also renting products from Fitbit, Jawbone and Garmin, so it is quite familiar with the wearables market. Of course, the supply will be limited at first, but they have already set up a waitlist to rent the Apple Watch after it goes on sale on April 24. You can follow the link at the end to find more details about it.
Unfortunately, if you were thinking that you will get the Apple Watch Edition for a test only for a few dollars, we have to disappoint you. Lumoid will have only versions of the Apple Watch Sport and Apple Watch (steel).
If you decide to rent the entry-level Apple Watch Sport, it will cost $45. However, the good news is that if you decide to buy the product, $25 will go toward the purchase. The trial for the Steel version will cost $55 and $30 will go toward a purchase.
So, what do you say, would you be interested to pay for a week with the Apple Watch? Leave your comments below and let us know.
