Youtube quality over 3G

Is there any way to stream regular quality videos on youtube over the 3G connection instead of the godawful reduced quality videos? Im guessing this is to compensate for the slower connection, but im getting 2mb/s on my 3G connection, which is capable of loading higher quality videos without too much hiccups (my wifi speed is 3mb/s, btw).
