Gosh, those ads do bring back memories Diane. We also have a Hoover...still working too! The ads for cigarettes and the ads directed towards the domesticated woman are unbelievable. Hard to believe those were even published back in the day!

The first vacuum cleaner my mother used was a Hoover as well.

Some of the ads sound almost dangerous, if you look at them with the knowledge we have today.

We had one of those red ones too back in the day. The one that is still working is a yellow one and vacuums very well!

That astounds me that they still work! And they work well! But then again they did build things with better quality! Now they build junk so we have to buy them more often!

I always thought cocaine in Cola was a myth?
