I guess it changed it's mind!

Love the old ads Diane......just amazing how they advertised years ago!

I have a Kenwood Chef which is now 30 years old and a Hoover clothes dryer which is 36 years old ...... Both handed down to me by my mum, who bought new models.....mine are still going strong after all these years whereas my mothers new ones are long gone!! ;)

And Einstein has a good point.....I see groups of young ones doing that all the time.....although they're far from idiots!!

It is true they are far rom idiots. I hate to think what he would have thought of cyber bullying, or money frauds and worse the young girls who are victims of sex offenders! He would have been appalled!

Far from idiots but still it's not a good thing to see. They can't seem to stay in the moment and just enjoy that.

I think he would have seen most of that himself, well maybe not the cyber bullying....but yes, very appalling! ;)

And now for something completely different I am going to put a heartwarming video on the YouTube thread! :) ;)
It didn't work! I'm hoping J.A. will help me out!

Peace begins with a smile. :)

This was worth the time to post. Having trouble getting photos to come through so will try again!
That monkey is hugging the dog every minute!! The dog’s expression

After losing his parents, this 3 year old orangutan was so

The zoo keepers found an old sick dog on the grounds in the

Took the dog to the animal treatment center.

The dog arrived at the same time the orangutan was there

Long Live Friendship!
I don't know... Some say life is too short, others say it is too long,
But I know that nothing that we do makes sense if we don't
Touch the hearts of others... While it lasts! May you always have
Love to Share, Health to Spare, and Friends who Care...
Even if they are a little hairy at times.

Thanks, Leelai. It seems I doubled one of the photos and missed the one that was suppose to be there. I will try to fix that now! Thanks so your encouragement! :) ;) :) ;)

Please note the 3rd photo should be the first photo. ( one of these days I get something right! ). :/) The fox and the dog in Norway "Write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year.” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson Some stories are just too far fetched and hard to believe, that’s why photography is such an amazing tool. Photography makes the “you have to see it to believe it” stories come to life, just like the friendship between a Norwegian dog and a wild fox. THE FOX AND THE HOUND Tinni is a Norwegian dog that belongs to photographer Torgeir Berge in the forests of Norway . While exploring the woods together they came across a wild fox that they named Sniffer. Although Sniffer has never been domesticated in any way, Sniffer and Tinny became good friends. Now Berge observes Tinni and Sniffer from a distance, and luckily for us he captures their endearing friendship with his camera. Now Torgeir Berge is working on a book called “The Fox And The Dog” with writer Bert Helberg. This experience has changed Berge’s mind about the fox-fur trade in Norway , and he hopes to one day ban the hunting of foxes for their fur image-560842861.webp image-1560314649.webp image-545804612.webp image-3351898132.webp image-178574117.webp image-2074921179.webp image-2891003440.webp image-3404176021.webp image-3093903362.webp View attachment 55116 image-3562255099.webp image-1758964851.webp image-4149470204.webp image-1795443292.webp image-3598063815.webp image-1460422011.webp

LAST TRIP TO COSTCO

Yesterday I was at my local COSTCO buying a large bag of Purina dog chow for my loyal pet, Hemi, the Stupid WonderDog and was in the check-out line when a woman behind me asked if I had a dog.

What did she think I had an elephant? So since I'm retired and have little
To do, on impulse I told her that no, I didn't have a dog, I was starting the
Purina Diet again. I added that I probably shouldn't, because I ended up in
The hospital last time, but that I'd lost 50 pounds before I awakened in an
Intensive care ward with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IVs in
Both arms.

I told her that it was essentially a Perfect Diet and the way that it
Works is, to load your pockets with Purina Nuggets and simply eat one
Or two every time you feel hungry. The food is nutritionally complete so it
Works well and I was going to try it again. I have to mention here that
Practically everyone in line was now enthralled with my story.)

Horrified, she asked if I ended up in intensive care, because the dog food
Poisoned me. I told her no, I stepped off a curb to sniff a poodle's
Ass and a car hit me.

I thought the guy behind her was going to have a heart attack he was
Laughing so hard.

Costco won't let me shop there anymore.

Better watch what you ask retired people. They have all the time in the
World to think of crazy things to say. Forward this (especially) to all your
Retired friends...... It will be their laugh for the day.
