Easiest way to shop for a car these days is by browser. If you get a used car, though, make sure you get a carfax to assure it hasn't been wrecked. Remember to leave yourself room for CA fee and taxes, too. You'll have to wade throught the kludge of dealers, but it's the best way to nail the bottom price without having to run around and haggle with everyone.
